Bayonet coupling with quick release between adapter and module
The thermal module is installed on the adapter using a four-point bayonet system. The bayonet connection is extremely reliable and is quick and easy to use. The module can be removed from one adapter and installed on another without the need for special tools, allowing many daytime optics available to a hunter to be quickly and easily converted into thermal optics.
Quick installation and disassembly on daytime optics lenses
The adapter with the module is fixed on the lens of the daytime optics with a fixing clip. The clips can be installed or removed in a few seconds.
Precise positioning of the module display within the field of view
The position of the module display can be adjusted, within the field of view of an optical sight or other daytime optical device, by means of a specially designed mechanical system. The observation is thus complete, harmonious and rich in information.
Metal housing
The PSP-B adapters are designed and constructed using extensive metal parts. The adapter body is milled from aluminum alloy, which provides high strength and low weight. The screws, retaining clip, and pins are made of steel.
Resistance to extreme temperatures
High temperature differences do not affect the operation or performance of the adapter, which is able to function reliably in critical climatic conditions, even in freezing temperatures, without requiring adjustments compared to an indoor installation.
Resistence
The adapter is designed for extended use, as well as for use with daytime riflescopes mounted on large caliber hunting weapons.
Fully compatible with numerous daytime lenses
With the PSP-B adapter line, the Proton and Krypton thermal modules can now be used with most optical daytime riflescopes (monoculars) with an objective lens diameter of 40 to 56 mm, as well as tube-shaped riflescopes with a diameter of 30 mm (guided hunting riflescopes). One of the supplied insert rings must be inserted into the adapter before it is mounted on the lens of a daytime optical instrument (monocular, binocular or riflescope). The choice of ring depends on the outer diameter of the lens housing of the optical device. The contoured plastic rings ensure gentle contact and optimum connection with the daytime optics, and increase the reliability and integrity of the mounting.
