Classic design
The Merger LRF thermal binoculars are built with the classic daytime binocular design. With a small size, these binoculars fit comfortably in the hand, while offering pleasing aesthetics and ideal ergonomics. The six control buttons are located in an easily accessible area, while the most frequently used functions of the device can be activated with a single touch.
Highly sensitive thermal sensor made in Europe, NETD < 25 mK, 384x288 pixels @ 17 µm
Merger LRF XQ35 is equipped with a Lynred sensor, made in Europe, with a NETD value < 25 mK, capable of detecting a qualitative signal even in difficult conditions for observation, when the thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible in rain, fog and high atmospheric humidity at the observation site.
Power in a compact body
User Mode
Adjust contrast and brightness to maximize the rendering of details and the informative value of the images in every observation condition. The User mode saves the contrast and brightness settings in the device memory, providing immediately an optimal image quality in future uses of the thermal imager, without the need for further adjustments.
Proximity sensor to avoid being seen
Observing in darkness requires that you are not visible so that the animals do not notice your presence. Putting a device to sleep using the Display Off function is a common way to prevent backlighting from the eyepieces. To make this easier, the MERGER LRF has a built-in proximity sensor that acts as a display switch to prevent exposure to the backlight in the dark. When the device is moved away from the eyes, the proximity sensor turns off both displays, while when it is brought closer, both displays are activated, providing excellent image quality.
Rugged magnesium alloy housing
Merger LRF is designed for continuous and often rough use. The magnesium alloy housing is lightweight yet durable, providing protection for the thermal device's internal components from impacts, drops, moisture, heat, and cold. The metal housing also effectively removes heat from the electronics, helping the instrument operate smoothly over long observations.
Accurate laser with operating distance up to 1000m
Correctly determining the distance to the target is essential to making the right decision. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of 1 km allows you to measure the distance with single readings and perform continuous scans with an accuracy of ± 1 meter, thus obtaining a quick and correct assessment of every situation.
Combined system with two independent batteries
Merger LRF is powered by two rechargeable batteries, a built-in 4Ah and a replaceable 3.2Ah. A single charge provides long battery life. The raised part on the removable battery body allows you to accurately determine its position and perform a quick and safe replacement simply by relying on the touch, even in complete darkness.
Three levels of sensitivity amplification
The choice of signal amplification level, in addition to new filtering algorithms and fine adjustment of brightness and contrast, provides the hunter with great opportunities for long-distance observation in different weather and temperature conditions. The signal amplification settings help determine the characteristics of the animal and ensure clear rendering of objects and background in the field of view.
Integrated photo and video recording
The Merger LRF features a built-in video recorder. The Merger LRF’s internal memory can store hours of footage and tens of thousands of photos. A simple press of a button is all it takes to take a photo or start a video, which can then be transferred to a computer via USB-C. Merger LRF owners have 16GB of free storage in the Pulsar Cloud, for storing photos and videos taken with their instrument. Simply install the Stream Vision 2 app, log in, and connect the instrument to a smartphone via Wi-Fi.
Remote operations with smartphone and software update via the Stream Vision 2 App
The built-in Wi-Fi module connects the Merger LRF to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 app. This allows for a variety of operations, including wirelessly updating the device’s software, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone, posting photos and videos taken with the instrument to social media, remotely controlling digital features, and accessing the latest Pulsar news. Registered users also get 16GB of cloud storage for saving photos and videos taken with their device.
Comfortable viewing experience
The optical design of the Merger LRF binoculars takes full account of the characteristics of the human eye. It is natural for a person to receive visual information simultaneously through two visual channels. Observing with two eyes is more relaxing than using only one. This translates into more effective detection of small or blurry objects and better performance in low-contrast situations compared to thermal monoculars with similar characteristics. The interpupillary distance in the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable between 62 and 74 mm, in order to adapt to every user.
Fast aperture lens F35/1.0
The F35/1.0 germanium lens features high infrared transmission in the long-wave infrared (LWIR) range. Thanks to the extremely precise construction of the lens optical elements, the image generated by the Merger LRF XQ35 thermal sensor is characterized by sharpness and richness of detail.
Support 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi dual frequency band
In Merger LRF thermal imaging cameras, the standard 2.4 GHz frequency for WiFi connection to a smartphone is combined with an efficient 5 GHz frequency band. The latter offers better bandwidth, higher data transfer speed, noise protection and better connection stability, which translates into greater efficiency and convenience of using the thermal device with a smartphone.
High contrast AMOLED HD display
The high-contrast AMOLED display offers better color rendering, power saving and fast response time, providing clear and precise images even when observing in freezing weather.
8 color palettes
Eight color palettes improve observation in varying conditions. While the classic White Hot mode is versatile, Hot Black mode is often used to detect animals at night. Red Monochrome allows you to reduce or prevent eyepiece illumination. Sepia tends to improve observation over long distances, while Red Hot, Rainbow, and Ultramarine modes improve the visualization of temperature differences between different parts of an object. Purple mode helps you identify an object more quickly.
IPX7 Fully Waterproof
IPX7 Fully waterproof for protection from heavy rain, snow or other precipitation. Designed to function perfectly even after immersion in water up to 1m deep for 30 minutes.
Operation in extreme temperatures, from -25 to + 50°C
Merger LRF thermal imaging telescopes are effective for use in low temperatures (-25°C) thanks to the Freeze-Resistant AMOLED Display used by the unit (the image remains identical to when viewing in above-freezing temperatures of the surrounding atmosphere).
