The RDP “2” STEREO series has also been equipped with a new High Efficiency Class “D” audio amplifier like the RDP “2” MONO series. The new amplifier allows the RDP “2” 35 Watt Stereo to be used even with internal batteries, allowing for good operating autonomy (if used at a moderate volume). It has also been possible to eliminate the additional heat radiator. The stereo players allow two loudspeakers or horns to be used simultaneously (up to a maximum of four for the RDP “2” 35 Watt Stereo). When playing a single song, the sound is played on both channels, allowing the two loudspeakers to be oriented in different directions. When playing two mixed songs, a different song is played on each horn. NB Exceptionally, it is possible to use the stereo players with just one loudspeaker; with this configuration the “mixer” function is not active. To avoid damaging the player, it is absolutely not possible to connect the two amplifier outputs to a single loudspeaker! Each specimen is subjected to severe tests before being placed on the market.
